Admissions Process

The admissions journey at Ascend is designed to be clear, welcoming, and personal.

Step 1: Attend an Ascend Campus Tour

We warmly invite prospective families to experience Ascend firsthand. Campus tours are available by appointment through the Ascend School Portal, offering families an opportunity to explore our campus, programmes, and learning environment. Families outside India can also arrange a virtual interaction by emailing admission team at admissions@ascendinternational.org

Step 2: Application & Documentation

Following the campus tour, families will receive access to the Ascend School Portal to complete the application and upload the required documents. A separate application is required for each child.

Step 3: Parent Interview

Once the application and required documents have been received, families will be invited to schedule a parent interview through the Ascend School Portal. The parent interview is an opportunity for us to learn more about your child, understand your family's educational goals and expectations. We look forward to meeting both parents as part of the admissions process.

Step 4: Student Visit / Observation

Pre-Primary Applicants: Half-Day Programme, KG1 and KG2 Following completion of the previous admissions steps, families will be invited to attend a Student Visit Day on 5 December 2026. Admission decisions for Pre-Primary applicants will be communicated by the first week of January 2027.

Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Years: Grades 1–11 Once the application documents have been received, the Admissions Office will contact the family to schedule the student’s visit. Depending on the grade level, the visit may include interactions with teachers and students, classroom experiences, and age-appropriate academic or learning activities. Student visits and interactions are arranged individually throughout the admissions cycle.

Step 5: Admissions Decision

Mid-year admissions for the 2026–27 academic year are considered on a rolling basis throughout the admissions cycle. For the 2027–28 academic year, admissions will follow the regular admissions process. For Pre-Primary applicants, decisions will be communicated by the first week of January 2027. All admission decisions are based on a holistic review of the student’s application, educational background, interactions with the student and family, and the school’s ability to meet their needs. Our goal is a thoughtful, student-centered, and supportive admissions process for every family.
