The list below details all of the steps that must be completed for a child to be considered for admission at AIS. For the 2012-2013 school year AIS is admitting students beginning at age 3 through the 4th grade/standard.
Tour AIS - Schedule a tour of the AIS facility beginning in October 2011. In order to accommodate all families, tours are scheduled in advance. Tours are an adult only event.
Application Forms - Following your tour of AIS, submit the application form, fee and supporting documents. Families with more than one child must submit a separate application for each student.
YOU MUST ATTEND A SCHOOL TOUR IN ORDER TO APPLY to AIS.
* Admissions forms will be available following your school tour.
Additional required supporting admission documents:
Application Form and Fee
Parent Questionnaire
Teacher Recommendation Form (from current school/nursery)
Transcripts – ONLY if applying for 1st through 4th grade, submit the Transcript Request form to your child's current school.
Student Visits - Attend a student visit day with your child. Visit days are by appointment and are scheduled only once families have submitted the application form and fee.
Student Visit Days are welcoming and fun for everyone. Student visits are designed to be a sample of what a child’s day-to-day experience is like at AIS. Our aim is to get to know your child during their time at school and discover each child’s strengths and what makes him or her unique.
School Assessment for students applying to grades Kindergarten (KG 2) and above.
Attend a parent interview.
The Admission Office will contact you to schedule an appointment that follows your
child's school visit. This is an opportunity for us to meet with both parents one-on-
one, learn more about your family’s goals for your child’s education, and answer any remaining questions before admissions decisions are awarded. All parents must participate in a parent interview as part of the application process. We look forward to meeting both parents at the parent interview.
Enrollment decisions are given on a rolling basis.
